During the period 21-31 May, a two-week workshop took place at ISU with 18 participants (with amongst others participation from the University of Amsterdam) on how to prepare and present a space related business plan.
The first week concentrated on lectures and workshops on Business Canvas, Business Plans in general and financial elements, as well as business intelligence. The second week the participants got coaching from entrepreneurs and Venture Capital specialists on how business plans were evaluated.
They were offered a training session on the basis of a draft slide-deck at SEMIA, a local successful incubator. At the last day, a jury with an experienced business analyst and a start-up specialist from SEMIA, were presented three business plans on the basis of the 10-20-30 slide deck principle 1 , with in addition a one-page teaser.
All participants of the workshop were given an individual EuroSpaceHub certificate, and the winning team got small gifts in the traditional EuroSpaceHub bags, as shown in the picture below of the winning team and the jury.
